Preventive measures include urinating after sexual intercourse, staying well-hydrated, avoiding the use of irritating feminine products, and practicing good personal hygiene. With prompt diagnosis and proper treatment, most UTIs can be effectively managed and resolved, reducing the risk of complications such as kidney infections.
